Nakajima Island Nature Walk
30 min. cruise-ship ride brings you to Nakajima island.
In midst of old-growth-forest, all you hear is the sound of leavs, song of birds.
Unwind yourself in this deep green forest, breathing air that is "just made fresh".
The Nakajima-island has a unique environment where it is separated from land, away from business of our daily life.
Once you warlk into woods, sounds of civilization diminish and sound of nature becomes more vivid.
You might encounter wildlife residents(squirrels, wildbirds and deer) when lucky.
We instruct the activity and guide the lake, Hokkaido nature in English when we do an English tour.
It would be easier for you to communicate if we talk directly.
That makes your tour safer, also you could hear more about Hokkaido nature from the guide.
You do not need a translator on board. We charge 2000 JPY/person/hour as an English-guiding fee.
e.g.) Canoeing short touring is 1.5 hour tour = 3000 JPY/person is added to the original fare.

*This is a course upon "request". We do not operate daily. Please tell us your desired dates so we can prepare.
*You need to book our canoeing tour at least 7 days in advance, we will check vacancy for English guiding slot.

Here are some things you might want to bring, what to wear.
Participation with dogs
・All dogs need to wear life jacket when participating canoe tour.
・We have dog float rental for 500 JPY a piece, please ask for details.
・Our insurance does not cover dogs, please find pet insurance on your own.

・We accept tour request at least 7 days before tour by 17:00.
・Please send us "Tour Request" from the botton below.
(This is "first-come-first-served" system. We might not be able to accept when tour has not enough vacancy.)
